BASA members here is a great resource to share/exchange office furniture/equipment. Items donated by non-profit agencies may only be shared with other non-profit agencies. Private sector may donate items and may exchange items with other private sector businesses. The rule is just that items donated by non-profits must be shared only with non-profits. For more information contact Michelle Gallagher with United Way. Michelle Gallagher has set up a new page on the United Way website where people who have and/or need surplus supplies, furniture, or equipment can list and shop.
To access the site, go to www.UnitedWayNWMI.org and click on Office Exchange. If you have something to list, you can contact Michelle using the directions at the site and she will post your listing (including photos!) for you.
