The members of BASA are actively engaged in improving the lives of the seniors in our area. In 2007, we identified three strategic directions to accomplish this in our region.

1) Heighten Awareness of Senior issues and Increase Action
2) Integrate Senior Issues with Community Planning
3) Strengthen BASA's Capacity for Action

Mission

The mission of the Bay Area Senior Advocates (BASA) is to support and enrich the lives of older adults through collaboration, planning, and advocacy. BASA is a unique blend of both public and private partnerships working together for the good of older adults, families and caregivers in our region.
